• Step 1:

  Sit down, relax, and enjoy a drink while we explain the Brazzaz dining experience.

• Step 2:

  Visit our gourmet salad and sides bar. Enjoy over 60 items including a unique array of seafood items, fresh cut vegetables, imported cheeses and cured meats, and our signature mushroom risotto.

• Step 3:

  Flip your disc orange side up, signaling that you are ready for your warm appetizers, sides, and our gaucho chefs to begin tableside service.

• Step 4:

  Choose from the 16 cuts of delectable fire roasted meats or our very own exclusive shrimp or pineapple brought to your table, sliced and served by our gaucho chefs.

• Step 5:

  When you are satisfied, flip the disc to the black side until you are ready for more offerings.

• Step 6:

  But the meal does not end there; choose from one of our freshly made delicious desserts or after dinner cocktails.

The Brazilian Steakhouse has its beginning in the late 18th century in the Southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. There the Gauchos, Brazilian cowboys, would graze their herds on the Pampas, the fertile lowlands of that region. They created their own unique brand of cuisine, formed around their ranching lifestyle, and the abundance of beef and fresh produce.

The Gauchos would dig a fire pit and skewer the cuts of beef, seasoning them with coarse salt from their saddles and roasting them over the glowing coals. Gauchos also served the beef, slicing it into thin mouthwatering pieces with knives they carried on their belts, called facón.

This type of cooking, called Churrasco, quickly migrated to the Gaucho's homes, and then on to other farmers and families. The Brazilian barbecue soon became a staple of the culture. As families and friends gathered to recount tales, roasted skewers of beef were brought to the table, sliced and set on the plates with fresh salads, produce and homemade delights.

With time, the cuisine has expanded to include lamb, poultry, shrimp and pineapple. The Gaucho way of cooking continues to amaze, convert and fulfill millions. Now, it has found yet another home, Brazzaz in Chicago's beautiful River North neighborhood.

• Caramelized Bananas are transformed into a heavenly delight, crisp on the outside, warm and sweet on the inside.
• Garlic Mashed Potatoes, made with just a hint of garlic. These light and fluffy potatoes are everybody's favorite side dish.
• Cheese Bread (pao de queijo) with soft, chewy centers and warm crispy golden outside.

• Chocolate Lava Cake — Sinful yet divine Chocolate cake with a molten chocolate center served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream.
• Cheese Cake — A decadent dessert made with the finest cheeses for a sweet, tangy taste on a bed of graham cracker crumbs.
• Chocolate Raspberry Cake — Light yet rich layers of raspberry and chocolate mousse in layers of the softest chocolate sponge cake.
• Papaya Crème — Fresh pureed papaya with vanilla ice cream drizzled with crème de cassis.
• Chocolate Mousse — Rich, silky smooth chocolate with a hint of Cognac topped off with homemade whipped cream.
• Carrot Cake — Moist, melt in your mouth, with a delicious cream cheese topping and fresh crush walnuts.
• Crème Brule — Silky, velvety vanilla custard on a thin bed of liquid chocolate topped with caramelized bananas and/or strawberries.
• Brazilian Flan — Delicious sweet custard with honey.
• Carnival Coffee — Brazilian Coffee made with Kahlua and Baileys topped with homemade whipped cream and cinnamon.
